Still, even after all those years, it's a wonderful song for us romantics. Olivia sounds just as lovely and honest as back in the 70s and still manages to send shivers down my spine. Trite as it may sound: still as lovely as ever!

i fell in love with this song the first time i heard it. olivia newton-john really gave her heart and soul when she recorded this one in a million single. i love everything about the song and olivia newton-john gave this one her best performance ever!

The '98 version of I Honestly Love You has a much "fuller" sound than the original, with beautiful harmony supplied by Babyface & a slick production by David Foster. A sure fire radio hit to put Olivia back in the spotlight. Version 1 tends to be a lot "smoother" than the country inspired Version 2 remix. Olivia is still the one that we want......Ooh Ooh Ooh....

Olivia Newton-John's remix version. Not an easy find. Would probably be filed under R&B (modern rhythm and blues) However, for me, the first time I heard it, at Virgin Records in Vancouver, Canada, it had a great subbass undertow and dragging beat which made it sound current, a bit like rap. The original singing seems to be the same, but the sound and music are updated. Very interesting. Has 2 versions, one plainer. Vocals sound the same as original.
