this is a awesome cd..not too much suggary pop, August 10, 2000
This review is from: Honey to the Bee (Audio CD)
Personally, I am a huge alternative and rap music fan--and i was Forced to listen to 16 year old Billie's debut album. i was watching my 10 year old sister, and that was ALL she would play. Personally i don't really like pop, but this cd is actually pretty damn good. the debut cd is not too cookie cutting, sugary pop (which i HATE), but actually pretty nice music. My fav songs r "What Cha Gonna Do", "Saying I'm Sorry Now" and "She Wants You." The songs r a mix of pop, r n b, and the lyrics r multi musical LOL. If you like pop, or even if you're into other types of music (much like myself), you should buy this cd.

cute, June 25, 2000

Billie is another kind of teen diva. She writes her songs beautifully and sings it sweetly. The best tracks for me in her album are the melodic "Honey To The B", the upbeat "She Wants You", the rocking "Because We Want To", the apologizing/pleading/begging "Sayin' I'm Sorry Now" and the cute-tuned "Girlfriend". Buy now or miss on this one out.

Worth it for Bonus Tracks, March 21, 2007
This review is from: Honey to the Bee (Audio CD)
If you're considering buying this CD (and it's worth getting for the standard tracks alone), you might consider splashing out a little extra money for the Japanese release, which features two additional tracks: "So Deep," which as far as I know isn't available on any of Billie's other CDs, and the Almighty Mix of "She Wants You," which is a terrific remix of this single--again, not available anywhere else. General music fans could probably get the standard UK/ US release and not miss much, but serious Billie fans will want those extra songs. Considering she may never record again, true obsessives will snap up every song from her short-lived days of pop stardom!
