I've read every word of the book since it supplements his TV series. I found it to be very helpful. It's probably the best beekeeping book I have, and I have several.

I haven't finished reading this book yet but I thought I'd tell you that it's already a great resource on bees and beekeeping! It's a big decision about whether or not to try beekeeping and that was the reason for purchasing the book. So far I only have a few questions that I haven't seen addressed, but I'm pretty positive the answers will be there somewhere. The next step is to visit with a beekeeper and "get my hands dirty", as it were. Can't wait to see where this book will take me!

I have many beekeeping books. This is one of the best, especially for new beekeepers.

We are new beekeepers and this has been the best book we have come across yet. It is the companion book to the DVD series that I ordered from the University of GA. Excellent source from starting the hive to extracting and maintaining. I give it a five star!
