5.0 out of 5 stars I love this!
I live in cramped quarters so I needed an ironing board that was not too big, but not too small. This board is perfect! It's sturdy and you can rest an iron on the iron rest without having to worry about it tipping over. It folds up nicely when you need to put it away and it has a light layer of padding under the fabric cover which is suffice. Great for people who do not...

3.0 out of 5 stars Probably great on the go
This is meant to be a portable ironing board and for that it's pretty good. I really wish it didn't have the break in the middle though and maybe it was a hair wider. The middle makes it hard to iron just one side of clothes without a dimple forming on the opposite side and I have to adjust my shirts more than once per side when I iron the fronts because the board is a...

I'm a machine quilter and my sewing space is limited. This little ironing board is just what I needed to press seams as I sew. I set it up on my sewing table to iron, then fold it and put it away. The price is very reasonable, too. Along with the little ironing board, I also bought the World's Smallest Steam Iron. They make a great team.

The middle makes it hard to iron just one side of clothes without a dimple forming on the opposite side and I have to adjust my shirts more than once per side when I iron the fronts because the board is a little too slim width-wise. Good. Not great.

This works functionally and for limited storage space it can fold away much smaller than other products we have tried in the past.

4.0 out of 5 stars Didn't fold level upon first arrival. Had to twist the legs., August 18, 2010

This is a nifty little ironing board perfect for people living in a small apartment or dorm room, where space is highly valuable. The legs neatly tuck in and the board itself folds in half.
When I first got this, I tried it out but the legs (once popped into their slots) don't allow the board to sit level. Luckily, the legs are made of some sorta-flimsy metal material so I was able to bend and twist them with my hands to make the board level. The legs still folded in to the "store" position.

So that's why I gave this thing a 4/5, because it came awkwardly but it was a quick fix.

Also, when making the buying decision keep in mind how this board will lay very close to whatever surface you have it laid on. I guess if you are planning to place this on a tabletop, desk top, or carpet to iron, its fine. But I was using this on the linoleum floor of my dorm and it is DIRTY, so your clothes might get dirty after they are neatly ironed. Something to think about.

the product was very flimsy. the legs wouldnt stay stable at all causing the board to not hold the iron's weight at all. I returned this and will now probably buy something from a store so i know what i am buying. the shipping and return was awesome which is expected from Amazon.

After I figured out how it went together and how the thing folded, it works like a champ.
They had one of the legs attached in the wrong clip on brackets and it took me awhile to realize that, so I struggled with it a while. However, it's clever how the thing goes together and fold. I don't know that I would use the iron holder especially if the iron is Teflon coated, it may scratch it.

I just started sewing after my wife showed me how to make my own T-shirts and now have a small sewing area
in the bedroom. My area consists of one 4ft folding table, 1 Baby Lock sewing machine, a Panasonic steam iron and of course this ironing board. The padding is sufficient and works as well as the regular stand up ironing table.

You can take it with you inside your luggage if needed but it will take up a bit of room. Besides, with the airlines charging more for luggage and most hotels have ironing boards you can borrow, it makes no sense to do so.

Bottom line is that it's well made, sturdy and does what it's expected to do. Make my own shirts, yup, this is one that "HONEY CAN DO" ... LOL!

This is flimsy and when you iron on it, you get a line where the seam/fold of the ironing board is. It is easy to store though.
