I live in a small studio and have always used these over-the-door racks to save space on shoe storage. This has been the most convenient and clean cut one. Usually the shoe space provided in each compartment is not large enough to fit wider shoes, but this one fits large shoes, and most boots. The black color also leaves the rack looking cleaner than white or clear colored racks.

I looked all around for a shoe rack like this with large measurements. This was the biggest I found. Twenty inches across is not really sufficient for four men's shoes. It does the job, but should be bigger for mens shoes. I advise that you measure your shoe widths before buying. Undoubtedly, it is very good for women's shoes.

Living in a small apartment I have to make the most of available space, this item is useful and fairly attractive!!

I bought this over-the-door organizer for the purpose of saving my sanity...I am using it to store the family gloves, scarves and hats, which were overflowing and seemed to be lurking around every corner. Not only was I able to donate LOTS of the overflow once I could see what I had, but it is now so easy to find what I'm looking for quickly due to the clear pockets. It is hanging on the basement door, just opposite the coat closet. Love it! It fits women's shoes okay, but is a bit small for men's. I personally would prefer canvas for shoe storage, which is a lot stronger. This doesn't seem like it would hold up well with shoes or anything else very heavy, but for lighter storage it is fabulous!

I bought this to use on a cruise for storage of toiletries and medicines, etc. so they wouldn't be in a bag or lying all over the counters. I looked around in the stores for something similar, but this one fit the bill because the pockets are clear, large, and there's a lot of them. It's very easy to hang right out of the package. The hooks are included and fit right over the door securely and they are flat against it, allowing you to close the door. We liked it so much on the door during the trip, that when we got it home we hung it up on our MBR closet door! It holds extra things that we use day to day like soap, bandages, floss, toothpaste, & medications and everyone knows where they are.

I purchased this to hang over an under-stair closet door, much shorter than a regular closet. It fits perfectly. I'm using it to store all the things that used to be in a catchall drawer in the kitchen. It's perfect for storing different size batteries, flashlights, packages of paper clips and rubber bands, tape and glue. Because the pouches are clear, the contents are visible and the openings are large enough for ready access. I can find what I'm looking for in a glance, without pawing through a myriad of sticky other things. I couldn't be more pleased. If only all of life's little annoyances could be solved this easily!

I bought two a few months ago and am presently buying a few more. They are strong, clear plastic and I don't have the first shoe in mine. Back of sewing room - numerous visable gadgets. Bathroom - lotions, brushes, curlers, and in the office all kinds of stuff computer parts and all. I've had to sell my bedroom set and other pieces of furniture. With these hanging behind the doors and no dressers, I now have a lot more space. a garage workshop helper. They are the greatest small toy organizers.

I bought two of these for my closet door - one for the front and the other for the back. It has REALLY helped clean out my closet. Before this, my shoes were a mess in my closet. It took me a while to find both shoes (my shoe mess became like the missing sock syndrome - ha). However, with this shoe organizer, finding my shoes is now a snap.

The organizer has 24 pockets. I have mine as follows... on one side of my door, the shoe organizer holds 12 pairs of gymshoes. The pocket will only fit one gymshoe. On the opposite side of my closet door I store my dress shoes. Now, with my pumps, I managed to fit one within the other and squeeze two shoes into one pocket... so that shoe organizer holds 24 pairs of shoes.

Please note: the pockets are too small to hold boots.

I'm pleased with this organizer. It is well-priced, easy to hang, and very convenient. I recommend you try it out.

All the shoes are leaning over. It would have been better to make each pocket a little wider and maybe a little deeper too. I am sure these will be just fine for light, small lady shoes. Guys stay away, get one of the under-the-bed ones.

I bought this for my 11 yo daughter, who has a stuffed giraffe collection that she wanted to display. We tacked this to the wall in her room and her giraffes now have a happy home and aren't all over her floor any more. I'm sure this is great for shoes, but it's great to store other things too.
