4.0 out of 5 stars the cotton is kind of thin-ish
and it's a little bit translucent, kind of like hankie material. To me, it is more of a $4 bag rather than a $7 bag. I was a little disappointed. Maybe it's more durable than it looks....

3.0 out of 5 stars It's OK but a synthetic one would be better
This bag does the trick in case if you don't use it too often and don't stuff more then 15lbs. in it. Not exactly durable or strong. After trying this bag I'll get a synthetic one in a future.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Bag, July 21, 2009

This review is from: Honey-Can-Do Cotton Jersey Laundry Bag, Blue (Kitchen)
I ordered 2 of these and am so happy with them that I've ordered 3 more. I tossed the bags in the washer first thing and they held up very well. I monogrammed them and they took the lettering fine. They are made of cotton jersey -- which is a soft lightweight cotton. So, I did not expect them to be sturdy but I've been pleasantly surprised. They are well made and the drawstring has a locking mechanism. I do wish the bag had a handle though!

Nothing much to add to the title. A great price and does a great job.

Oh, I just noticed they're asking a lot more for it now. I only paid around $6.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tough Bag!, June 26, 2009

I bought 3 of these bags and have used and washed them several times a week over the past year. All are still in perfect shape, and have not shrunk. Really worth the money. A great laundry bag.

5.0 out of 5 stars nice laundry bag., June 30, 2009

I like it - it's made out of t-shirt material, so it remains to see how it will hold up. The color didn't fade with the first washing, so that's a good sign. But really, how much can you say about a Laundry Bag?

4.0 out of 5 stars Good fit for hamper, August 24, 2011

I bought this bag to line my Burlington Baby Wicker Hamper (which is NOT baby-sized) and it fits perfectly. Just the right width and enough extra height to fold over the top. It's made of soft cotton jersey material which will be easily washable. I haven't tried lugging it to and from the laundry room yet but I'm optimistic.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent bag, June 20, 2011

I bought this in hopes of finding a cheap alternative to the storage bags specifically made for storing a sleeping bag, thinking I'd just return it if it didn't work out. I'd say the experiment is a huge success! The bag is well made and plenty large to hold a Cabella's-brand -40 degree, synthetic-filled mummy bag without compressing the insulation. The fabric, 100% cotton, is just as breathable as the dedicated sleeping bag bags. I can't imagine paying $40+ for a dedicated sleeping bag bag ever again!

5.0 out of 5 stars Good quality and a fair price, June 20, 2011

We will use these both as laundry bags, and for storing out of season shoes in them under our bed. The bags are a solid material (strong weave) and the drawstrings seem to work easily (granted, I've only used the drawstrings on a couple of the bags once or twice....they may give trouble down the line as there's more use opening and closing, but I really don't expect it: as I said, these are a quality construction). Fair price and fast shipping. If you're looking for a laundry bag, this is a good option that will very likely last for a year or two before getting holes from worn seams. No laundry bag lasts forever, after all!

I bought these to store comforters and bedspreads and they will work fine. The bright color makes them easy to locate when stacked in a pile in storage. I am not sure that they would hold up well with anything but lightweight items. Cotton canvas duffels are a lot sturdier, but these breathe better when they contain down filled items. For sleeping bags, pillows, etc., I will stick with reinforced rip stop nylon or heavier cotton.
