August 13, 2011 update: I have been using the three bags I bought every week, and they have held up beautifully, literally looking like new. The zippers stay zipped and do not deteriorate, and the seams do not fray. I thought I was dumb to buy three, but today I used one for hosiery, one for bras (holds three or even four), and one sweater in the same load, so it does pay to have several.
November 29, 2012 update: All three bags are still going strong, no problems with them whatsoever. The fabric does not snag, and all zippers are in tact.Read more ›
However, the Manufacturer must have had this in mind since a Lifetime Warranty comes with the product.
I can either contact them after the Holiday Season has past or return the defective one and request a replacement product from Amazon.
Bought two and unfortunately the 2nd one began to fall apart as well so I returned both to Amazon for a Refund.
If they revamp this item and reissue a sturdier product I wouldn't mind trying it again because the idea is a good one, it's the product design that is flawed.
The two racks take up exactly the same floor space (28" x 28"). Since this rack secures the net to the corners of the frame, the net is smaller than the frame (see the picture). So even though the frame is 28" x 28" the net is indeed 26" x 26" as advertised. The other model, on the other hand, secures the net to the side poles (again, see the picture), so the net is just as big as the frame. The usable surface area of the other version is indeed bigger, allowing you to dry larger sweaters.
In this version, however, there are no rods along the sides of the net. There are four bars radiating out from the middle. Not only that, but when you separate the legs from each other to attach the net there is a mild "click" as they snap into place. The click isn't very strong, so the arms aren't immovably locked into place, but they don't swing freely either. This construction has two huge advantages.
Firstly, the other rack has no crossbars to sturdy it. Whenever you pick it up, the thing can bend every which way.
(If you don't understand, take four straws, and make then into a square, taping them together at the corners.Read more ›
I love these bags. I've had a set of them for almost a year. They get used at least twice a week, and often three or four times. The bags have held up well. I love that they have the drawstring closure rather than zippers. Every zippered bag that I've ever owned has failed. This includes ones with metal zippers and ones with plastic zippers.
I have never had an item escape the bag. I use them for bras constantly. They are also used for tanks, delicate tops, hosiery, handkerchiefs, etc. I've never had the closure toggle loosen in the wash. The bag always comes out of the wash still tightly closed. I've also never used them on a heavy duty cycle. I wash all of my delicates on the delicate cycle. I have never used them in the dryer; so of course, I have not experienced the melting that others have noted.
I like the fabric that the bags are made of. I think that the more open mesh fabric used in many other bags can be rough on sweaters and some delicate fabrics.
I paid $6.99 for this set (on Amazon) in August 2009. I have wanted to buy more sets since then, but the price has never returned to anything near $6.99 again (at least not when I've looked for it). It's now August 2010, and they are $13.09. It's not that I can't afford to spend thirteen bucks - but I feel so ripped off when the prices on Amazon fluctuate like this. It happens a LOT.
Another con is the comments that Honey-Can-Do left on the two current one-star reviews. The item is supposed to be guaranteed, and yet there is the company saying that they won't replace the product. I guess the "limited" part of the "limited lifetime guarantee" means they "limit" themselves to doing NOTHING to satisfy customers who received faulty merchandise.Read more ›

Helpful to have! It can fit 1-2 bras inside. So far it's held up through 5-6 washes without any noticeable damage or wear and tear. Great deal!Published 20 days ago by Jetpackblues
