5.0 out of 5 stars Good laundry bag
Have been using two of these bags for the past 6 months. They have held up nicely despite the kids filling them with clothes and throwing them down the stairs at each other. Use them for laundry or Kamikaze-bomber-stairway-sneak-attack. Your choice.

versus
3.0 out of 5 stars mesh laundry bags
Honey-can-do: Quality / thickness of mesh material is a little thin, but acceptable.

Mainstay mesh laundry bags were the best, most durable, and largest capacity I've found. I wish they were still available.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for my needs, February 1, 2011

I bought this bag in addition to a cheap hamper that I couldn't have used otherwise, it's large enough to hold 3-4 full loads, the material feels soft and is washable

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for fitted sheets, January 18, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Fitted sheets have a way of attracting socks, underwear and other small items in the corners - both in the washer and the dryer. In the washer the small items may not get clean, in the dryer they are often damp or wet when the load is finished. Using this bag completely eliminates that problem. The sheet gets washed and dried, and does not come out of the machine with any unwanted passengers. Love it, and the bag is big enough to hold one king-size fitted sheet.

5.0 out of 5 stars HUGE BAG - WIDE MESH, December 3, 2010

This is a HUGE bag with very wide mesh (big holes in the fabric). It's great for putting my dirty clothes in when I go to the gym, but useless for putting in the washer with my delicates inside.

5.0 out of 5 stars Please read, you'll understand why this is the best., January 15, 2012

Allow me to set the backround. I'm stationed in Afghanistan where the only means of washing laundry is through a contract run by TCNs (Third Country Nationals: Turkish, Indian and all kinds of Eastern Europeans) Well, these TCNs like to abuse our laundry bags which in turn forces us to buy new ones from the PX or Shoppettes. These bags are poor and the draw strings rip/break after only a few uses.
Anyways, the drawstring on these bags (I have 3 in rotation) have held up remarkably well. Where every other laundry bag I've owned had torn to pieces, this one has stood the test of time. Most importantly though, have held their own against any and all abuse given by the TCNs that return them. They don't simply tie your bag and that's that. No, they find newer and creative ways of tying your bag and twisting it into such a knot that I won't bring it bag again. But it hasn't broken my string and the mesh itself has held wonderfully.
I hope my testimony has swayed you to buy this product. It really is the best out there!

This ended up being awesome... love the breathing mesh... love being able to throw this in the wash with the clothes if I want.... I don't think I've tried to dry it.... large capacity, good price...just what I wanted!

5.0 out of 5 stars Mesh laundry bag, June 24, 2011

This particular bag is great for several reasons. One is has a very nice small whole mesh hols that wont split so easily and they go down the stairs without tearing. I have 3 of them that I fill up my laundry with and don't have to carry such heavy bags (due to my knee and back problems) down the stairs. I love them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Easily Holds Wool Throw Blanket, February 12, 2011

I bought 2 of the blue Honey-Can-Do LBG-01161 Mesh Laundry Bags for under $5 each with free shipping. We have 2 wool/cashmere throws(high quality, but got super cheap)that have seen a lot of use for everything from camping trips to covers on the bed (we have cats). I used The Laundress Wool & Cashmere liquid soap and placed a throw in each mesh laundry bag. I added other smaller bags with sweaters to the same wash load and laundered on cold, low speed. After spinning out, I hung the throws over the shower curtain rods in the bathroom to dry. They washed up great. These big bags are great to prevent stretching of the fabric when in a spin cycle which was my main concern. I thought I needed a zippered top bag, however the nylon ropes do not get tangled in the washer and are super easy to open and close back up.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bag 'Em!, January 23, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I love these bags! I purchased three of them, all with the intention of separating clothes for my soon to be born baby (and in an attempt to save some cash on those pricey little baby hampers x3). They are surprisingly good at what they do! While I simply expected a sort-capable tote bag, I've found that when I'm just too lazy to actually open it to empty it, I can just toss the whole bag in the machine (assuming it isn't over full so that the clothes can move around) and save myself a couple steps! This is SUPER important when trying to balance a 2 month old on one hip. LOVE it!!!
