I cannot imagine a better introduction to the songs of John Dowland. Kirby's voice is angelic and her diction supreme. Rooley makes for a most elegant accompanist. In addition to all else the recorded sound is perfection (a church in Sweden). Bravo to all involved and a big thaanks to BIS.
