About the Author
Jack Weber is a consumer advocate, lecturer, and author who has written several books on consumer and money matters. He was Deputy Director of Media Relations for the Reagan White House and an official at the Federal Trade Commission. He has appeared on "Larry King Live," CNBC, and "The Today Show."

I found this book very interesting and practical. The chapters that one will find beneficial is the various web sites where you can find bargains on various products such as carpeting, furnishing, etc. Also the author gives good advice on how you can reduce your energy costs such as using cold water for the rinse cycle. There is also good information on how to buy a used car. The author does not believe in buying a new car.I have been practing alot of the advice that he is providing and did not find anything new for myself. Alot of this information is available online for free. In many cases he does not go far enough there are alot areas that were never covered. Save your money.
