I HOPE THIS HELPS EVERYONE LOOKING FOR ALL THE SONGS IN THE MOVIE!!!!!!

You know i went to go see that movie cuz of the dancing and the music and i was psyched when i saw it. I was expecting a bomb soundtrack but instead we get this, and this music wasn't even the tight stuff off the movie! What happened to that Tweet song and the one with Shawn Desman? What about Nas's version of "Everybody wants to rule the world?" And what about Ginuwine's tight lil number with the kids?! Man...pretty much the only good songs on this album are Missy Elliot's "Hurt Sumthin'", "Thugman", "React", and Tamia's "It's a party". I was pretty disappointed that they didn't include the others i mentioned. Hope there's a Honey Soundtrack 2 or somethin cuz it seems that i'm not the only one dissin the soundtrack...

Though I thought the movie was great, the soundtrack...well isn't. Plain and simple. This is my first review ever and, because of my disappointment, I felt the need to write one up for this poor soundtrack. The purpose of a soundtrack is after watching a film, the music that was embedded into the film was appealing. This is why I bought the Honey soundtrack. As I watched the film I sat in my seat wanting to just get up and dance. Many of the songs that AREN'T in this soundtrack were in the movie. Tweet's song, in my opinion, "Thugman" is alright and the one that was featured in the film was much better. Missy's one track isn't all that either, but is for sure better than anything you will find on "This Is Not A Test" (minus "Don't Be Cruel" w/Monica and Beenie Man). The best song on this album is clearly it's only single, "I'm Good" by Blaque. It is a complete SHAME that Elektra did not assist Blaque in promoting this single. While the movie credits Rodney Jerkins for the music int he film, on the soundtrack only about three or four of his tracks appear on the cd. Other highlights on this album are Amerie's track along with Tamia's. Other than that, this CD is disappointing. Go watch the movie instead. . .

I absolutely love this album and it hasn't left my cd player for weeks,but has anyone realized that not all the songs are actually on the soundtrack? I was a little disapointed about that but never the less it's still amazing!A very good buy!

This is too all who have bugged about the album offered on htis website and how their were missing tracks....i found online the honey sdtk. extened version with all the songs in the movie like "Hypnotic" by tweet and "No more Drama" by Mary J. Blidge. Its available downloaded on any of the things like napster. try other websites and look for the extended album...i have it and it is great! Good luck!!

Blaque's song alone is worth the price of this CD. They sound soooo much better than they did a few years ago! They have grown up....and might just give Destiny's Child a run for their money. "I'm Good" is an excellent song...produced by Rodney Jerkins...so you shouldn't expect less than perfection. However, the rest of the album is a nice mix of new and older urban hits. The mix makes for an enjoyable listen....and maybe this means the movie will be enjoyable as well. I would pick this one up.....just so you can have the Blaque song to listen to until their new album comes out January....
