this is another in The Jones Gang series. Nevada Jones is the host of an an advice to lovelorn radio talkshow. She was a bartender when she was discovered! Chase McQuaid and Nevada have had one night together that neither can forget. They are on an emotional rollercoaster before they finally find true love together. Uncle Oggie is adding his $.02! I enjoyed it.

This is #8 in the Jones Gang series by Rimmer, and the third and last of the Jones sisters' stories.

The first half of the story was mostly your standard Category Romance. Yes, the heroine was a little older than usual, 37. (She had to be, as her younger sisters' books had already been written!) And I thought the hero was kind of a dumb a**, for a lot of...

This is #8 in the Jones Gang series by Rimmer, and the third and last of the Jones sisters' stories.

The first half of the story was mostly your standard Category Romance. Yes, the heroine was a little older than usual, 37. (She had to be, as her younger sisters' books had already been written!) And I thought the hero was kind of a dumb a**, for a lot of little reasons. But basically, just another Cat by an author I enjoy for a quick read.

And then, in the second half of the book, something extraordinary comes into play. It is no longer just (or even primarily) a romance, but more a story of this woman in crisis. And Rimmer does not resolve this quickly, but over weeks, then months. I was so tense, waiting for the fall.

Absolutely riveting.
