Though you can feel free to refer to the individual who feels that some of the first television in a very difficult TV genera diserve to be stored away in gutters and drains I can inform you that The Honeymooners is a faby blend of 1950's culture and budding comedy. The Honeymooners is a classic show which ran neck to neck with I LOVE LUCY for years and many feel that the stereotypes and roles they made and broke are what we have to thank such shows as Seinfeld, Friends, and anything daring enough for Prime Time.

Audrey Meadows the individual who plays Alice (Ralphs wife)was a talented and award winning comedy genius who lends a speacil zest to the classic show. While Trixy the more "modern housewife" does cry, her slight over acting can make most people smile, if not laugh.

Ralph Kramden; Jackie Gleason in reality was famous for his dancing and bizarre comedy but the Honeymooners trully wouldn't be what it was without Art Carney;(individual who plays Ed Norton) a strange tall thin man who made his life by making others smile and laugh in the beginning of television. This videos' clips are rightly paying homage to a great comedian side kick and it's only sad that not everybody can rightly appreciate the talent.

This tape I will not suggest to anyone who has either not viewed and adored the Honeymooners or anyone who wishes to own an episode.(If you want an episode might I suggest the collection of lost episodes its really great!) This is a short clip collection of great classic and memorable moments that remind you of how cool classic TV can be, and was. It has the cool stuff that happened like crazy Ed Norton ticks, aggravations and arguements, and those strange little habits that really got under Ralphs skin, but, if you find your self laughing at them, it's okay that was the purpose, they did have comedy no matter how suttle in the 1950's. So enjoy the re-living of hair growing (or stunting)larks candy store catastrophies, Racoon arguements, and the occasional missing article from an ice box when you purchase this little gem.

The Honeymooners was, and is, the best tv show ever. This tape has many funny scenes. The opening scene where Norton raids the icebox is classic. I also like how the scenes are catgorized by theme. Jackie Gleason once atributed 90 percent of the success of the Honeymooners to Art Carney. This tape shows why.

"The Honeymooners" is a very irritating show. Norton is a big mouth who has never learned that a closed mouth gathers no feet. He says many very stupid things and it is curious that this show and the tired lines have had staying power.

Ralphie Boy is an annoying, loud mouthed bossy windbag who knows a few cliches and doesn't mind wearing them out further. The worst thing about Ralphie Boy's limited vocabulary is the awful "hommina." The "homminas" are extremely annoying and contribute nothing of real value.

Alice is a big mouth and Trixie is just a shadow figure who can be counted on to cry if crying is called for.

"The Honeymooners," Norton in particular is about as funny as a stomach virus. "The Honeymooners" belong down the manhole with Norton!
