I studied German for three years of high school and two semesters in college. I have a great affinity and respect for the language, but I never thought it was a very sexy.... That is until now. It's very sexy when Suzie Kerstgens sings. Listen to My Secret (Track 5) and Two Questions (Track 6) to hear what I'm talking about. Wow! Suzie, Ich Liebe Dich. I stumbled onto this band from, of all places, Pontiac's website. The guitar intro from Gold (Track 4) has been used in some of their recent advertising. Gold is indeed what you will find.

Great listening music for anywhere, anytime. Suzie Kerstgens' voice hypnotizes with upbeat lyrics that spin effortlessly out of delightful rhythms, melodies and hooks. Deutschland uber alles!

If you want to enjoy some nice pop music that has the "real" feeling that actual instruments provide, then you will probably be happy with Honeysuckle. There are enough enjoyable songs to buy the whole album, although if you are averse to hearing songs in other languages, as many Americans can be, then you probably want to stick with the english language versions only. I guess you could buy them individually on Amazon as MP3s, which has worked very well for me.

Anyway I bought it shortly after its release, and I still listen to it. This is definitely a good place to get started with Klee, I've bought some individual songs that were written earlier and later and they didn't quite match up to the solid feeling of the entire Honeysuckle album.

The vocals are really good, the music is well written and catchy.

I think its worth supporting musicians such as these.

Suzie's voice has pop sensibility with a reminiscent and melancholy touch, but the music itself is somewhat bland. If you want a better overall experience, I'd say just stick with Saint Etienne.
