After having filtration issues using just the screen-type prefilter on my Honeywell electrostatic system I sought a post filter to improve trapping of particulates. My HVAC vendor wanted over $60 for these filters. Purchasing via Amazon was much more cost-effective and the direct shipping from the vendor was fast and reasonable. I'll be doing the same when it comes time for replacements!

Although electrostatic air filtration is known for increased removal of invisible airborne smoke, pollen etc, their downside is less effective removal of dust and particulates. The visible dust level in my home has significantly decreased using these filters in addition to the prefilter and electrostaic cells.

I received two brand-new filters, as ordered, within 5 days of my order. No complaints.

I ordered these filters to replace the ones in the system next spring. I have purchased these filters yearly and normally the cellophane wrapping is alway torn or loose. These filter arrived in two days and were in perfect condition just like they came from the manufaturer. This seller gave me a great product in a short period of time and at a reasonable price. I will be looking to deal with this seller again if possible.

Used as secondary filter in Honeywell F300. This filter is non-washable and must be replaced every 6 months. It is actually 2 16 x 12 filters that both slide in side by side into upper slot above main cell. Wish it had been a single 1 piece design like illustration implies.

Anyone w/ allergies would especially benefit from the whole house filter system.

- I will attempt to extend the life of this filter by routinely deep cleaning with high - powered vacuum. :D

Make sure to use a pre-filter as well as the post filter.

Also you may inquire to the manufacturer if there is a 'pre-filter' for your "pre filter".

While you're at it you may wish to ask about a 'post filter' for the "post filter"...

Very high quality filter. Having just serviced the home furnace, I'm reminded of the electrostatic charge that the filter comes with from the factory. It might be fair to say that this filter loses some effectiveness over time, as the static charge diminishes . . .

. . or maybe the air cleaning unit itself continuously charges the filter. Anyways, when the filter gets filthy, it'll get replaced.
