Easy to install, and relatively simple to program into an existing system, however I'm not sure it actually works very well at all. The test whereby you tap it firmly with a hammer or something to set it off generally fails to signal the alarm. I believe I only got it to trip when I shook it incredibly vigorously. Still, it was cheap, and at least it provides a visual sign that my house is alarmed.

I have 19 hardwired zones, 5 wireless, 3 keypads, a code encrypter and smoke alarms all Honeywell/ademco. Everything is flawless with the exception of this sensor. It faults just about every three days. I have to bypass it, remove and reinstall the battery. Not an easy task for a skylight glassbreak. There are no trees above the skylight to drop nuts or branches on it to fault. It is a small design and maybe I just got a dud.
