The H8908A Humidistat and H8908D Dehumidistat (humidity controllers) provide automatic low voltage control of humidifiers and dehumidifiers or ventilators, respectively, in central heating and air conditioning systems. Well, there is not much to a humidistat, it works well. I have the digital display that tells me the humidity in my house and it seems to match the settings on this humidistat. So far I am happy. I would recommend this product plus it looks good.

Works great, but it had very tight place for wires if you do a surface mount.

The settings on the one I received are off by approximately 20 percentage points. For example, with a setpoint of 25% it will control humidity around 46%. The unit has about a 5% hysteresis. Although I would consider this unit defective with a setpoint inaccuracy this large, I realize it is an inexpensive mechanical humidistat so I wasn't expecting much. It will suffice for my needs - I just have to keep in mind the scale isn't accurate.
