THE LITTLE HEATER THAT COULD!!,
By Mr.BLB (CT) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Honeywell HZ365 Ceramic Heater (Kitchen)
i have had 4 of these, and they are AWESOME, i totally recommend them but they were like 35 or 40 at home depot, but i dont think they are sold there any more. so if you can get your hands on one of these i would totally recommend it!!
what drew me to this one was the remote, so i didnt have to get out of bed and its GREAT!!

I'll give it four stars,
This review is from: Honeywell HZ365 Ceramic Heater (Kitchen)
Its a nice heater it heats the room quickly although I do wish it had a quieter fan speed. I gave it four stars because it doesn't have a safety tip-over switch. The controls are easy enough for me to figure out. The best thing about this heater is I've had it for 3 or 4 years (give or take) and it still works perfectly.

INCORRECT DESCRIPTION, NO BACKLIGHT!!!,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Honeywell HZ365 Ceramic Heater (Kitchen)
This is a good little heater and I am quite happy with it (bought 4). Unlike another review, I don't find it hard to remember how to operate it: hit power once to turn on high power, hit again to turn on to low power, hit it a third time to turn off. Press the thermostat to turn on that feature. Once nice feature is that the heater remembers your desired thermostat settings between uses. However, yes, the thermostat does read high. If you want ~68, set it to ~75. It's not a big deal for me.
I bought this unit over the DeLonghi SafeHeat DFH550R because of the Honeywell has a display, rather than a rotary knob on the DeLonghi, and the product description, here and on epinions, lists a backlight. Well, THERE IS NO BACKLIGHT. When I called product support, I was told it was discontinued. So unless, you get an older version, you will not get a backlight. While I am happy with the heater, the incorrect product description, which was part of what closed the deal for me, merits the loss of a star.
