Product Description

PPRF Wireless PowerPoint Remote from Honeywell is a remote control designed to facilitate presentations and public speaking. It will work with Microsoft PowerPoint and most presentation software. It also includes a laser pointer within the controller. This thumb-sized device supports both USB and PS/2 connectivity. Simply plug the base receiver into either of these port types and the controller is ready for use. No special software is required. Its wireless component uses a 64-bit code-encrypted radio frequency to ensure superior transmission and eliminate interference. A carrying case is also included to facilitate transport of this unit. Professional Presentations Use this device to conduct more professional presentations by controlling your presentation software remotely. Laser Pointer It includes an integrated laser pointer to bring more professionalism and control to your presentation. Carrying Case The unit can be stored in the included carrying case during transport to protect it from damage.

I was looking for the longest range presenter and this was the longest advertised range I found. And you know what? It's true. I bought it for my church, for changing slides in power point. It works from any place in the sanctuary, even from the loby, dosen't matter what direction you're pointing it. Very easy to use - just 3 buttons with obvious functions, nobody needs to be told how to use it. It matters when you are nervous in front of all the people! :)

I bought this controller for laptop based presentations specifically for the long range radio frequency control in lieu of typical IR controllers. It works just as advertised and you don't have to worry about getting over and around people blocking the receiver. The first one I ordered was defective, and I had a big presentation the very next day. I contacted Honeywell directly with a phone number posted on the device's website ((...)) and they overnighted me a new one. Very few companies will send a replacement before receiving the defective unit first.

I bought this unit for work, so that I could control my PowerPoint presentations from anywhere in the room. It works great for that, and has another unanticipated benefit. When others have a section of the presentation, I can just give them the remote and they don't have to worry about a lot of buttons. It couldn't be any simpler, and the range is great. Highly recommended!
