The produst I purchased,was exactly as described, and works perfectly.I purchased this wireless doorbell so my bedridden wife could sinal me whereve I MIGHT BE. upstairs downstairs, basermant or grage. It' small enough to be easily carried any where within 150 feet of the signal button. Top quality item,it was shipped promptly, and has made our live not only easier but safer. Thank you.

Do not buy this device. The doorbell will only consistently work within about 4 feet of the chime. At 15 feet about 50% of the time and if you actually mount it outside by the door, well, anticipate it working about one out of 10 times. New batteries in both the chime and doorbell meant nothing. I truly regret this purchase.

I had hoped that this wireless doorbell would work better than others of unknown origin. This doorbell has no range to speak of. Fresh batteries did not help. All I needed was a reliable ten feet but this Honeywell unit could not deliver. UPS has now learned to knock on the living room window. Amazon is great about returns.

Receiver is about 12 ft. away from transmitter, and rings about 1 of 4 pushes.

I moved into an apartment. It is a nice place, but the owner saved a few bucks by not installing door bells on the units. It is a large unit and I use the back bedroom as an office. From there, you can't tell sometimes if there is a knock at the door. I bought this because it was a no fuss solution. There are several ring tones and a volume control. There even is an optional built in blinking light for the hearing impared. Why wait for the knock? Indulge yourself and hear the chime.

I needed something that would let me know when someone was at our back door. We have a door that goes to our back porch that I keep locked and the door into the house itself. I often could not hear when someone was at the back door. I ordered this and at 1st it would only work off and on. Then we figured out we had mounted it on our aluminum siding. We put it directly on our solid wood door and it has been a blessing ever since. I like the fact you can change the chimes to your liking also you can change the volume. I also really like the fact the chime is portable and you can take it too any room or even into the basement and know instantly when someone is at your door. Such a small price for such a great product!

My Aunt lives in a secure building and is nearly deaf without her hearing aids in. After dropping by twice unanounced, having to call security, and scaring the heck out of her when they let us in - I bought this for her. Now her guests use this button and she ALWAYS hears the bell or sees the light! She's back to being a social butterfly because everyone knows that she will hear them if they go to her door. [...]. No one should feel isolated when a few clicks can open the world up so easily. Well worth the money for both the door bell and the phone!

Purchased this item for my apartment. The speaker is about 15 feet away from the button and only works half the time. The box promised a 200 ft range. Although it was not a pricey product, I would have gone with something different had I known how poor it is.

Completely died after just a few weeks of use. Checked settings, changed batteries to no avail. Worked well with good range until it just stopped working altogether.

Our house, for some reason, destroys doorbells. But this one is holding up well. The base unit is battery powered and a relatively innocuous little box, making it more convenient than a wired or wall-mounted one. It's handy to be able to take it down to the family room or out to the back deck while you're waiting for the pizza delivery, for example.
