See Visitors Before They See You
The VisioCam's portable monitor has a full-color screen that will display camera images for 30 seconds after the door chime sounds. And to ensure that every visitor shows up on the screen, the monitor features a convenient scan button that allows you to adjust the camera angle. Infrared night vision guarantees a clear image at any time.
For added security, the camera and door chime unit features a tamper detection alarm. Also, a second camera (not included) can be used with this system for even greater home surveillance.
Customizable to Your Security Needs
Because your preferred level of home security may depend on who's at home or what time of day it is, the VisioCam features a range of customizable alerts. For example, you can choose either door chime activation or the motion detection option, which will activate the camera/chime and send an image to the portable monitor as soon as someone approaches your entryway.
Also, with a choice of four CD-quality chime tunes, adjustable volume levels, and an optional flashing strobe light, the VisioCam will get your attention no matter what's going on inside your home. And if you want to see visitors on a bigger screen, the VisioCam comes with RCA cables, so you can connect it to your television.

I bought this for a door about 60 feet from the livingroom. The first unit was defective. Upon pushing the doorbell only 8 feet away, the video image would only display for about 2 seconds. It was advertised to display for 3o seconds. I exchanged the unit for another
(Amazon is great !).
The second unit displayed the image for the full 30 seconds up to 45 feet away. The image was clear and strong until that 45 feet. Once I got the unit outside behind a wall, the image was broken and only a few seconds long, no matter the channel setting or positioning of the transmitter or receiver. In short, the unit is great for shorter unobstructed uses. Funny thing though, the anti-theft feature activates the camera when you open the unit to change the channels, there must be a different antnae for that because the image is great and long lasting ( I guess that eats up the battery to much to be used for the doorbell). I really liked the features and only wished it worked in a real world home setting. If you're going to be that close to the door, you could always just look out the peep hole.

I purchased this video doorbell for my home. The product arrived
quickly and the order process was very easy as well. The installation
was very simple and the directions were easy to follow. The product
works as described. The video screen displays a clear picture in both
day and night mode. The ability to carry the wireless receiver to any room is a great convenience. The motion detector is a nice feature
that not only lets me know who is coming to the door before they ring
the doorbell but its nice to know when the mailman has come. The
flashing strobe light and the chime are more than ample to alert you.

I was not satisfied with the product, I expected much more. The reception is not very good and the image quality is good depending on the background light. I would do more research for similar products. Also, there is no audio, although the manual mentions it will be a future feature.

Product that conflicts with WiFi Router/Gateway
This is a good product if you don't have any WiFi or wireless phone at home. (All have at least a 2.4 ghz cordless phone so this is not for you if you own one.)

BIG and BULKY

Limited range
Really works well from a short range of 50 feet, but outside that it starts getting static in the picture and more then 75 feet only gives a beep with motion sensor activated. Read more
