Put it together easily. Mounted it on front porch post, and measures our precip great. Only complaint is with the timing mechanism.Needs a reset to begin a time period as needed. Amazon's price beat all the others. Thanks.

This gauge does exactly what I want. It can be set to always display the last 7 days total rainfall.The temperature reading is very accurate. I do not know about the rainfall reading accuracy yet. Ons small downside is that it takes removal of 7 screws to change the sender batteries.

This is my second wireless rain gauge. The first was a LaCross and it stopped running in less than a year. To replace the outdoor gauge was more than 2/3 the cost of a new unit and I was not sure what part was broken. I opted for this Honeywell. It's much heavier, feels more solid and so far has been very accurate. The inside display is easier to use than my first one.I brought the gauge in for a few days because it snowed and then became unusually cold here. It's back to rain and in the 40's so it's out there doing it's thing again. I'm pleased so far. I'll see if it lasts longer than the other one.
