Put it together easily. Mounted it on front porch post, and measures our precip great. Only complaint is with the timing mechanism.
Needs a reset to begin a time period as needed. Amazon's price beat all the others. Thanks.

This gauge does exactly what I want. It can be set to always display the last 7 days total rainfall.

The temperature reading is very accurate. I do not know about the rainfall reading accuracy yet.

Ons small downside is that it takes removal of 7 screws to change the sender batteries.

This is my second wireless rain gauge. The first was a LaCross and it stopped running in less than a year. To replace the outdoor gauge was more than 2/3 the cost of a new unit and I was not sure what part was broken. I opted for this Honeywell. It's much heavier, feels more solid and so far has been very accurate. The inside display is easier to use than my first one.
I brought the gauge in for a few days because it snowed and then became unusually cold here. It's back to rain and in the 40's so it's out there doing it's thing again. I'm pleased so far. I'll see if it lasts longer than the other one.

unit works just fine. however it will not keep rainfall info for longer than 7 days. After that it clears itself. If you want to keep a nonthly total you will have to write down each 7 days. Other than that it is just fine. jg

The description of this product's capabilities is inaccurate. The TC152 Wireless Rain Gauge does not have the ability to monitor outdoor temperatures as described on Amazon.com. It has taken over 4 weeks to get reimbursed for a purchase that was made based on false claims contained on Amazon.com. I no longer trust the product descriptions on Amazon.com and have stopped purchasing products on this website.

The gauge is faulty and the readout leaves much to be desired. Would NOT recommend it to others.
