no problems,

These are standard plumbing parts. I found them to be about 40% cheaper buying them from the internet as opposed to buying locally. It was quite a savings because I needed 4 for my hydronic heat system. I did have to wait 3 days for shipping, so plan ahead.

I purchased this to replace a unit that was not working so I had no heat. Guess what I have heat and therefore I am a happy camper! Easy install as long as you can solder a pipe and hook up the wires correctly. (Yes I can do both)

Solid Zone Valve,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Honeywell V8043E1012 24V 2-position, normally closed straight through 3/4" zone valve solder conn
I bought this zone valve to replace a broken Dole HM-4 on a Weil-McLain P-FG Series 2 boiler. The valve it replaced had been giving me problems for a long time and finally became stuck open. Since they no longer make the dole valves I needed to replace it with another brand. The Honeywell V8043E1012 most closely matched the specs on my broken valve. It installed easily and the wiring was pretty straight forward. I've had it installed for a week now and it is working like a champ. The temperature in that zone is now rock solid, it was fluctuating pretty wildly previously, even before the old valve completely quit working. It remains to be seen if this valve will last as long as the 35 year old valve it replaced but I'm happy with it so far.
