This is a program about construction. There isn't even the slightest mention of the engineering that went into the design of the structure. No hint of the materials selection, stresses on components, design tradeoffs, etc. You never even see an engineer on site being asked questions as the structure is built.

Very interesting about a tunnel from Italy to Switzerland. It was awesome to watch how they dug through the Alps.

Although the catch phrases on these shows get tiresome ("...but, there is a problem" must be repeated at least ten times per show), they are good quality productions that I've learned a lot from regarding the concepts of big-project engineering.

As someone in the engineering field I enjoyed it but my wife who is not found it a bit uninteresting.
