Especially the grace illustrations. It is the most beautiful book I've ever seen. I like the peoms, they are neat and meaningful. It is one of the books I would like best to collect.

I was very glad when I got this book after a long time's waiting. By reading the poems in this book, I understood the truth well, and I saw which is right and which is wrong; which is great and which is evil. And, I like to remember and recite these poems because that was proved to be really valuable and helpful for me! And, just like what 'feburary' said, the book is printed well with a lot of beautiful illustrations.

By the way, I really cannot understand those people who will say this book useless and even evil. How can and dare you say this?! Is this the use of your 'higher degree'? What the school taught you were to scold and insult good things? Then I can only draw one conclusion - you are really from a BIG CULT! (let me omit the name of the cult, because it is not worth of mentioning).

I strongly recommend this book to you.
When I was a PhD candidate, the persecution towards Falun Gong started. Because I practiced Falun Gong, I was arrested and detained since 1999. I was still brave, strong, healthy and thoughtful when I was locked at a small cell alone for a few months. The director of police department was surprised to see that I was still so brave during the interrogation. The reason was, everyday, I recited this book, Hong Yin, again and again. I also know many of my fellow practitioners who suffered too much in forced labor camps tried to overcome all these torture because of remembering these poems and read in their hearts again and again. The evil could kill them but could not derive their faith. Never.
I know how to be friendly while I am mistreated when I am reciting this book. In a few days when I was detained at another detention center with some prisoners, I even got a piece of paper and some ball pens. I wrote those poems down. I was happy to see so many prisoners changed dramatically when they heard of Falun Gong. They regretted that if they heard of Falun Gong earlier, if they did according to "truthfulness-compassion-forbearance", they would not be there and how happy life they would have with their family members:). They decided to do as a Falun Gong practitioner from then on. One even put my paper (with poems) into her blanket and decided to practice Falun Gong when she was released. One tried to remember some of sentences from Falun Gong books.

I first read this book after I had already practiced Falun Gong for a while. I found some of the poems quite funny, others where really touching, because they point out exactly what it is like when you try to improve your heart and mind in this most materialistic society. Hongyin was really a revelation to me. A lot of the poems probably wouldn't make much sense to someone who hasn't read other Falun Gong books but if you like poetry and know a bit about Buddhism I would definetly recommend you buy it. You can always read the poems on www.falundafa.org first to make your mind up.

This collection of poems is very beautiful and most profound. Mr. Li's poetry has inspired me greatly in many tough situations. Falun Dafa is definitely not a cult, it teaches truth, compassion, and forbearance. The true cult is the Chinese Communist Party who have made Falun Dafa illegal in China and torture and murder people for practicing such a great cultivation way.

This is one of the most wonderful and touching books of poetry I have read. A truly touching piece of literature, that comes highly recommended. Please ignore the false reviews at the bottom of this page as this person has in no way written an honest an unbiased review. Please take writing reviews seriously as honest consumers have the right to know what they are really buying ... not the one sided opinion of someone who obviously hasn't read the books (at least from an objective view).

Li Hongzhi's middle-school level education clearly shows through in this extremely poorly-written collection of poems. The writing is laughable and the subject matters are ridiculous. Most of the poems that are half-decent are plagiarized from other Chinese poems. I supposed if you are a "CULTivator" you many find this book useful. Otherwise it's only good for a laugh.

Yes, the pictures in the book are very beautiful. Of course they are, they are PLAGIARIZED from traditional Buddhist scriptures!

How can and dare I say that this book is useless and evil? Because I have read all of Falun Gong's books and followed Falun Gong closely, and I have concluded for myself that Falun Gong is merely a big lie that Li Hongzhi made up to extract money from his followers. He shamelessly sacrifices their lives to gain publicity for himself. And for him to call Falun Gong 'Buddha Fa' is a humiliation for real Buddhists all over the world.

And to the reader from 'Tokyo,' I don't know which big cult you are referring to. [May I remind you that you belong to the biggest cult that the world has ever known] If you are referring to the Chinese communist party: no, I am not communist, I am not even Chinese.

This collection of poems will make you laugh [if you're not a Falun Gong CULTivator]: you'll be laughing at it. This is the worst collection of poems I've read, possibly the worst collection of poems in print.
