4.0 out of 5 stars good old Simon, October 22, 2003
This review is from: Honky (Audio CD)
This album isn't quite as strong as the Incredible Simon Stokes & the Blackwhip Thrill Band's, but it's a good solid Simon Stokes album (he hasn't changed). There are a few slower songs on here that have a softer, more sentimental approach, but most of it is pure grit. If you are curious, but haven't heard his earlier work, the cover of this album gives about as accurate a depiction of its contents as could be.

4.0 out of 5 stars Honky, August 5, 2002

Nice to see that something is out so those of us that have followed Simon since the 70s' have something new. Simon has been heard in the background for many years in film and hasn't gotten his due credit. Good buy for a Blackwhip thrill band fan
