This book is filled with the emotion from the eyes and heart of an individual from childhood thru to adulthood. It is a great coming of age story where right and wrong and personal decisions mark the path for all. Overall, good work. A pre/early teen would love this book!

Intriguing and unpredictable. Touches every emotion: anger, sadness, fear, happiness, and so on. Watch out Valerie Wilson-Wesley, Walter Mosley and other mystery writers. First time author, S.D. Edgehill, is on the rise. Just when I thought I had figured out Kayla's next move, she surprised me.
