This review is from: An Honorable Defense (Crisis of Empire, No 1) (Paperback)
I've had this book 20 years and read it a few times. Just recently finished it again.
This is a good military sci-fi book; good pace, good balance of tech vs. story, decent plot, characters are interesting. The main character, Bertingas, finds himself in the middle of a war for ascension to rule the Pact... This is an entertaining read. Nothing mind-blowing, but certainly not boring, either. |
