It's hard to believe Lou is in his 70's. The album is a tour de force. He does BIG Flag wavers like Hallaujiah, as tribute to Buddy and Brush Taps, his tribute to Jo Jones. And everything in between. He gives homage to Gadd, Chambers, Krupa, Shelly Manne, ...this is a must for all drummers and those who love good musical drumming.
