3.0 out of 5 stars Rags to riches...well not really, but close enough.
This is not my fav book by Sala, but i liked the read all the same. It could have been longer and i felt like it ended before the story was finished. If you are a fan of her work, i think you will be disipointed, but i don't regret buying it. I just will not re-read it over and over like i do all her other books.

1.0 out of 5 stars From The Back Page, March 11, 2008

From Waitress....
All her life she had believed herself to be Honor O'Brien, only daughter of struggling waitress Charlotte O'Brien. Until a handsome stranger stepped into her life with a shocking revelation: Honor was not the working-class woman she believed herself to be, but the long missing daughter of the wealthy Malone family....
To Wealthy-and Wanted Heiress....
Trace Logan sought out sweet Honor on a mission for his boss, the powerful Malone patriarch. But Honor's new identity as the Malone heiress placed the vulnerable beauty at the mercy of fortune hunters, plunging Trace into the role of protector. But the rugged right hand man to the Malone family was the last man Honor should trust-especially with her heart.
Personally for me, this wasn't a favourite of mine as it was only 249 pages and it could have been longer, but I found the storyline not as good as some of her others, for me I regret buying this book, but make up your own mind, you might like it.

5.0 out of 5 stars something that bothered me...., February 21, 2005
This review is from: Honors Promise (Silhouette Promo) (Paperback)
i think it was mean for honor to ask jj understand why her mother" did what she did. she didnt try. to see it what happened from jj's point of view. i would love to ask honor that if she had a daughter and loved her more than life and some woman steals her in a momentary lapse of sanity and then waits till she croaks to return her to her. if she could return her daughter to her. whats worse is that her mom claims to not remember kidnapping her, and who knows maybe she did forget and maybe she was a good person, but it doesnt change the fact that the day she remembered the day that she kidnapped honor to replace her dead daughter, she shouldnt have been so cowardly and selfish to have returned her to her family, she knew what it was like to lose a daughter yet she kept honor to herself. she was selfish and didnt deserve anyones forgiveness, and its really low of honor to ask her grandfather to forgive that witch.
