Gird yourself for battle, because war is upon you!, April 11, 2009
Honour Amongst Chaos is a hard mix of traditional celtic/irish melodies with a wild metal overtone. I bought it a while ago because I was getting into the pagan folk music genre and Waylander was recommended to me by a friend. I enjoy listening to it especially when I'm working out.
There are a lot of things going on in every song of theirs, as with a lot of artists in the celtic metal scene. The growling (english) vocals really give a robust "battle" sound to celtic-style drum beats and rock guitar. Drum rolls may be overused, but it's a solid album.
