While the HUB does seem like it wants to work, it has been unable to handle two or even three devices. I tried this with a USB 3.0 HDD and Blu-Ray Drive. When the second device is plugged in it'll sometimes flash and not register with the computer.
I've also noticed that things plugged in through this HUB have a chance to randomly lose their connection with the computer. This creates an issue where the PC still sees the device acting as if it's plugged in even after it's been removed from the HUB. When the device gets plugged in anywhere that isn't the HUB it seems to fix itself.
I've also noticed crashes while trying to wake my computer up while the HUB has been plugged in that don't occur when it's unplugged.
Overall it feels like I've bought a useless piece of junk. The first problem alone makes it useless as a HUB, since it can't handle multiple devices.
UPDATE: I originally gave this 5 stars because the 1st day it was working perfectly. The 2nd my mouse wouldn't work even though the led light for that port was on. After an hour or so I finally got my mouse working. The 3rd day nothing worked except the power light on the HooToo. No matter what I did I couldn't get it working.
I finally decided to reboot my computer to see if that would help. Next I got stuck with a computer refusing to come back up. My Mac showed a grey screen, the status bar never appeared. I was so afraid my Mac was done for! I tried turning my Mac on and off a few more times, something you are not supposed to do. No matter how long I waited I got nothing. My only hope was disconnecting the usb hub from my computer and hope that it was the problem. It was. Thankfully my Mac is now working fine and the usb hub is being returned.
One additional comment, I called HooToo for some help but they have no phone support, only email. The person I got on the phone knew nothing. I found that very disappointing. When something goes wrong the last thing you want is to have to email the company and wait for a reply which more than likely won't come the same day.
Here they are in some comments trying to act all concerned and whatnot. Give me a break. They aren't concerned and are apparently sleeping on the job.
PS: Don't expect me to respond to any of their replies to me calling them out... I don't have time to tangle with low-rent manufacturers over their crummy products and poor service.
OK. I have to admit, these guys delivered for me. They completely refunded my purchase for the broken one and sent me a new one. All without any prodding beyond my initial attempt to contact them. I have the new one plugged in now and it has been working for about 2 hours without seeing the problems that I had with the old one. Kudos and thanks, 5 stars.

My only caution is to make sure that you're careful about how much power your devices are drawing from the device. Bus powered hard drives can draw quite a bit of electricity, so it's simply not possible to plug more than two into this thing before causing reliability issues. HooToo also suggests that you don't plug in your tablet or smartphone into the hub as those devices tend to draw a lot of power as well.
But things like externally powered desktop hard drives, printers, memory sticks, and other USB devices should work quite well loaded up on the Hootoo's ports.
