This is a really interesting concept and premise, and yet some of this documentary's potential is squandered due to unimaginitive questions. The narrator asks the same questions to the citizens of each neighborhood. I thought it would be a lot more interesting to hear region specific questions. Also, the music selection is lacking; they could've done region-specific music as well. The participants are generally captivating, and when someone isn't, the scene is relatively short. Still, a very informative look into areas of our 'great' American cities which 70% of our population would never think of setting foot in. I also liked hearing the different dialects of each region. For example, in Chicago, instead of saying "Whassup, mayne", they say "Whattup, Charlie". All in all, good documentary; it just could have been so much better.

i am dumber for watching this.
just a van going from town to town. with kids talking about how 'bad' their neighbourhood is!! nothing happens. just dumb people talking some sort of english that is barely understandable.... 1 star...

these hoo2hood documentries are very well done and after seeing those snipers in chicago in part one or two i thank god everyday I was born in canada i mean we have are rough neighbourhoods but WOW snipers in the buildings DAMN!!!
