The first time I heard this album, I could swear I did not sleep the whole nite- It touched the core of my soul. I still play it till this day. The message his songs give out really gets to you, whether sensual or freaky. I said to my family, watch out he will definetly make it. -"In the Hood" was jammin', new beat, cool voice, his own style. All my friends were into it.

-" Knocks Me Off My Feet" very soul-touching and his lyrics were his own. He sounded like a modern day Stevie Wonder.

-"Natural Thang", "Yearnin" and "No Interruptions"- these songs excudes desire, You could feel desire in the air; They'd make your date freak you.

-"Waiting On You"- Now this was our favorite cool jam at a party. You could not compare him with any other singers-you'd know, that's Donnell.

-"I Want You To Know" This song captivated my heart, well maybe because it was dedicated to me and it had tooooo much soul, I had to cry.

He has his own style,I could go on and on about Donnell. This album,"My heart" I believe, was actually his heart. If you haven't heard, then you must. Even though it took him quite a while to get another album out, I never doubted that he would.And that goes to show you how deeply his first album touched me. To me Donnell is on my Top 10 list of best male R&B singer and always will be just because of this album. If I didn't already have this album, I'd buy it even for a $100.00 from anyone and that's how I rate it, $100.00. DONNELL, I FEEL YOU(Thanks to your album- "My heart".)

IT SOUNDS OLD SKOOL BUT IT'S NOT IT HAS NO EXPLICIT LYRICS IN IT AND HES ONE OF MY FAVORITE SINGERS. YOU SHOULD CHECK IT OUT
