2009 release from the Hip Hop star. J-Kwon rose to stardom with his single 'Tipsy' and his 2004 album Hood Hop. The album peaked at #7 on the Billboard 200 charts. It has reached gold status selling 650k albums to date. The first single 'Tipsy' peaked at # 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, becoming one of the biggest hip hop records in 2004. Hood Hop 2.5 features the single 'Fly'. For fans of Lil Wayne, Fabolous, Plies, Nelly, Chingy, T.I. and Kanye West.

What a piece of garbage this thing is. I won't waste my time reviewing the tracks because they are all bad. Why did this guy think holding money would make good cover art? Also if you see those are only $ 20's , maybe that is all he had left after people seen that he has no talent. Also how are you going to show us how hood you are when you cut the w out of the word "know" but add the apostrophe in the word "Don't"! Who knows, maybe this was an error but either way you fail J-Kwon.

Wow. thats all i can say about this album. Dont take the wow in a good way either. Im not sure if people liked J-Kwon alot when he put out the original Hood Hop. I loved Hood Hop. But Hood Hop 2.5? This is the sorriest comeback album in history. Kwon is probably broke and looking for some extra money. It sounds as if he is trying to copy Lil Wayne. Not only trying to copy his Auto-tune techniques, but also his real voice. I wouldn't ever buy this album. When i noticed that J-Kwon had released a second album i was interested. Lets just say after i heard the wayne wanna be in the beginning i was turned away instantly. P.S. He has no lyricism whatsoever.

First review of this album. Okay theres only two words to describe J-Kwons rapping in this, two words "Lil' Wayne." Yeah i gave it a 4 tho cuz i like lil wayne and its new and it's reppin STL.
