Cleaning your horses hooves is probably the least glamorous part of riding but also one of the most important aspects. "No feet, no horse".

I've used many types of hoof picks but these are the best because it has the brush on one side and the hook on the other. This makes the hoof pick much more effective at getting out the crud that gets stuck underneath a horse shoe.

Don't let the price fool you -- you can buy much more expensive hoof picks out there but none will do as an effective job as this one. Plus, when someone walks off with one of your new brushes or hoof picks, you'll be happy you don't have to spend a fortunate to replace it. And about the only reason you would need to replace this hoof pick is when it disappears because otherwise, it is built to last forever.

After you are done cleaning your horses feet, I highly recommend using Keratex Hoof Hardener - 250 Ml to put a decent seal on your outer walls of your horses hooves. Don't let the price scare you for the Keratex -- it lasts a LONG time and makes a huge difference in the overall health of your horses hooves...

This hoof pick is comfortable to hold, it isn't slippery, the brush lasts a good while, and the price is right.

I bought one of these used from my local tack shop, and couldn't be happier. It is very comfortable to hold and use, and the brush is awfully handy!
