5.0 out of 5 stars Fascinating and Enjoyable
From Hoofbeats to Dogsteps is an interesting and well written memoir. Rachel Page Elliott has been instrumental in providing sound and well researched information to the purebred dog fancy. She's lived a wonderful and fascinating life. This book captures the essence of Pagey and is a very enjoyable read.

3.0 out of 5 stars Interesting story
This was a very interesting and well written story. My only disappointment was I thought it would be more about structure and movement, not her life story. A good read but not necessarily a keeper.

A book about an interesting woman, who did many interesting things. She had a love for horses and later became very involved with dogs. She did a lot of work on the gait of the dog. She was active in agility in her eighties and kept active well into her nineties. She wrote a book on the gait of dogs . She helped estabilsh the breed standards for the Golden Retriever. Her later years were devoted to jigsaw puzzles.
