About the Author

Theresa Pulido enjoyed a 15-year career in marketing and public relations while indulging in her favorite hobbies and crafts. In 2006, she decided to focus on her creativity full-time and joined Bali Fabrics as marketing director to develop a line of craft products. Today, Theresa is the general manager for Princess Mirah's crafts, a division of Bali Fabrics where she oversees the development, production and promotion of a line of crafts for the needlecrafts, paper crafts and mixed media markets.

I had only done 2 projects when I purchased this book. My Granddaughter who is 8 wanted to make something for her Mom for Mothers day. She choose the checkers and dots centerpiece and decided to do only 4 squares and to make it a trivet. She came over a couple of times and with minimal help was able to complete the project it turned out great and her Mom was impressed. She is currently working on the drink keeper for her Dad and I'm working on the blossom bag. The book is inspiring and easy to follow the only difficulty is getting materials. It requires planning and lead time since most items are only available online and even then mostly I've ended up cutting my own strips. I would highly recommend this book and it would be great for children as well as adults

I had never heard of locker hooking until a friend discovered it and showed it to me. I found this book to be very informative as to how to do this craft and now it is one of my favorite ways to spend an evening, or even an afternoon, for that matter. The book features some really great projects, some simple and some more involved. I really like it and am now an enthusiastic locker hocker! Thank you, Amazon.com.!
