I had only done 2 projects when I purchased this book. My Granddaughter who is 8 wanted to make something for her Mom for Mothers day. She choose the checkers and dots centerpiece and decided to do only 4 squares and to make it a trivet. She came over a couple of times and with minimal help was able to complete the project it turned out great and her Mom was impressed. She is currently working on the drink keeper for her Dad and I'm working on the blossom bag. The book is inspiring and easy to follow the only difficulty is getting materials. It requires planning and lead time since most items are only available online and even then mostly I've ended up cutting my own strips. I would highly recommend this book and it would be great for children as well as adults

I was really pleased with this: wonderful, clear photos outlining every step of the process; great instructions; a good variety of colorful, fun projects.

I had never heard of locker hooking until a friend discovered it and showed it to me. I found this book to be very informative as to how to do this craft and now it is one of my favorite ways to spend an evening, or even an afternoon, for that matter. The book features some really great projects, some simple and some more involved. I really like it and am now an enthusiastic locker hocker! Thank you, Amazon.com.!

I like and am planning to make most of the projects shown. I love rugs but as the "mom" of a cat who thinks all rugs are scratching pads this is my solution; even if he shreds them a bit they will still look good. I tried the cheap way, using crochet hooks and plastic needles but after all the trouble decided to go with the proper hook. Finally something to do with those fabrics that have been around 25 years or more. Once you've tried a few projects you can begin designing your own since the author shows you how. Lots of step-by-step photos.

I haven't used the book yet, but have spent alot of time looking through it. I tried a number of local craft stores and was unable to find it so was very happy to find it on Amazon and for a great price. The supplies may be a little hard to find. I finally figured out that except the hook being special the rest of the supplies are pretty common items. Your imagination is your only limit. Have fun and practice before trying to do anything complicated.

Cool ideas, great pics, and clear instructions prepare you to tackle these hook, loop 'n lock projects. Very pleased with the book, but haven't tried any yet. Good info on supplies needed.

Recently I was introduced to locker hooking and fell in love with it. Having been a quilter for twenty-five years I have a vast accumulation of fabric. This is a wonderful way to use up fabric and reduce one's stash. What I like most about this book is the creativity. It takes the craft from the mundane to the artistic. There are varied projects from coasters, purses, hot pads, book covers to Easter baskets. It is an easily portable craft and does not require strict attention in most cases. There are quick, easy projects for beginners and more challenging ones after you learn the technique. I would recommend this book to anyone who wishes to learn locker hooking or someone already well involved in the craft.

This book is better than I expected! Great photos and directions - really given me a number of ideas that I can launch from to do "my own" designs.

I stumbled across this book and was impressed with the author's creativity and bright new style. Her sense of color and design add new life to this old technique.
The craft is new to me and with it, I hope to create some lovely items for gifts or for my home.

I looked at a couple of locker hooking books and this provided the basics and some more advanced in very clear explaination. Very easy hobby and the projects turn out looking very good.
