My daughter gave me Hooked ClassicsI years ago. I loved it then and purchased the rest of the series on cassettes. This year I decided to join the 21st Century- get an Ipod and start seriously walking. The very first CD I wanted to put onto the Ipod was Hooked on Classics. How delighted I was to find that the whole series was available,from Amazon, in one boxed set. The sound quality is GREAT and this is a fun way to "hook" new listeners to the "real" classics-plus I am really stepping out to these tunes.

The music on these CD's is very uplifting and energetic. I just love them.

If I HAD to find something to dislike, it would be that the list of all the works featured in these medleys are not individually listed as they were in the old cassettes.

WOW! This collection may not be timeless, but, ageless, maybe? I LOVE IT! Even the treatment of some not-so-classic classics is well worth the listen! LOVE IT!

The classics done with a light touch and a heavy beat are a great listening treat. It's a great way to introduce people to classical music. I recommend it highly.

This was very reasonable in cost compared to other sellers. It was new and flawless. I so enjoyed revisiting the past as we disco skated to this album at the local roller rink!! Good Times!!!!
