I think is one of the best classical music CD ever made, and we have one of the greatest Orchestra directors: Louis Clark, is a well-done porduction although is a little bit old(The long-play disc was made in 1982) it goes on being one of the greatest CD's in classical, varied music, 'cause it takes you from a Potpurri of allegro music, to the sacred music of Schubert's Ave Maria, and the terrific final with a varied selection of Can Can style music

I have exercised to this crazy, funky, cranked up version of favorite classical tunes for years (decades?). Sure it messes with the original versions, but I still love it. I would much rather dance to this in the morning than any of the current stuff playing at the local gym. Fringe benefit: My young children were introduced to classic melodies.

This "album" was a constant throughout my childhood. My mother loved the entire series with this one being her favorite. As such, this was a very strong part of the musical backdrop of my youth. With the nostalgia, I purchased the CD for my 3 year old daughter to dance to. She loves fast music, and this fits the bill nicely.

Its heavy on synthesized beats, etc. so some may find it a bit cheesy for today's tastes (was great in the 80's) - but if you don't mind that kind of thing, its really a wonderful collection of upbeat, fun music.

This is my all time favorite DVD. I bought it on Cassette when it first came out. then I got a DVD for the car. I really like the entire Hooked series.

I really like classical music. I like the way this CD was arranged. It's perfect for exercising. Get off by yourself, turn this on, and shake and move and lose weight!

I just love this cd, the music is wonderful. I play it in my car whenever I need a lift, it is very energizing!

I love this CD. I can put it on and clean the house in record time. It's just good classical music combined with an energetic rythm.

I purchased the original Hooked on Classics back in 1981, heard the opening title on Sirius radio and decided to buy the CD. It's really fun listening to this again! So much, I purchased the "Hooked On 2". Both CD's arrived in perfect condition and one week early. If you want a crash course on all the great classical music, but with a contemporary beat (we don't say "disco" anymore) add this series to your collection.

Had the LP back in the 70's refreshing to here it again only without the cracks and pops from my turntable. A nice addition to my CD collection.
