The "Essential Edition" does not come with the full 28 games as listed on the description. It only allows you to play the first third and we can't find any way to obtain the other 2 disks. Now my daughter wants to complete the map she is on, but there is no way to do it. I DO NOT recommend purchasing this version. The Hooked on Phonics FAQ section describes this as the "Readers Digest Version."

This product is an awesome learning tool for young children. It helps them learn short easy words before they start school. It is very fun and interactive when the child as well. Highly recommend it!
