I purchased these to help my 3 year old recognize letter sounds in a word. While she knows the sounds letters make by themselves, she seemed to be a little confused when they were in a word. The exercises are fun for her and the directions are easy for parents to explain to younger children.

I am considering home schooling for her younger years but this workbook would also be good for parents wishing to do a little extra for their children.

Thia book motivates children by using colorful pictures, and allowing them to perform the work book activates by coloring, circling or drawing a line though a small maze to connect the letter with the sounds. When a page is finished the child also gets to put a sticker on the page as well as a pull out letter chart. The stickers are a great motivator for my daughter she just loves them. I would definitely recommend for children learning their sounds.

I am very happy with this curriculum. Our family home schools and our youngest was beginning to show signs of interest in reading. This makes first lessons quick, easy and fun. And she really is learning.

I received this item in 2 days and in great shape. My 3yr old daughter has learned a lot from this workbook.

I ordered this book for my 4 year old, because I loved the Hooked on Learning Kindergarten workbooks that I got for my 5 year old. However, the 4 yo already knows her letter sounds and gets a little bored with this book. She does love the stickers and the chart in the back.
