Sonic the Hedgehog is one of the best cartoon shows I have ever seen. The episodes on this tape are two of the better ones and should have been rereleased on DVD with the others. The first episode on this tape is about Antoine and his jealousy of Sonic. He tries to impress the Princess Sally, but only ends up getting into deep trouble. Antoine is always a coward, but in this episode, you feel bad for him when he's scared. In the second episode, Griff, a goat who lives in the secret city Lower Mobius, befriends the Freedom Fighters, but is his nice attitude just an act?
I wish that they would put this series back on TV! Great show!

It's pretty pathetic that I didn't get up early enough to tape this show while it was on ABC:(

This is (IMO) the best Sonic animated series they made, 500x's better than the terrible kiddie one where they never showed the rest of the freedom fighters. I may think this b/c I've read the comics since 1993, and always preferred their drawings of Robotnik (which were based on this series). And Princess Sally Acorn is a great character! I just wish they would've had Knuckles and the Chaotix in it! It's too bad they cancelled this show and never released some of the better episodes. Oh well...check out the comics if you want the best in Sonic stories. (currently they're doing a Sega Dreamcast adaptation)

This video is great. it has two episodes in it. the first one is called Hooked on Sonics which it's about Antoine trying to impress Sally in a stupid way. Second episode is called Warped Sonic which is about Sonic, Sally, and Antoine going to Robotitropolis to overload the main computer or something and got chased by Swatbots and to get to the point, Sonic, Sally, Antoine meets Grif and well, buy the video yourself if you are a real Sonic fan;)

When Sonic The Hedgehog first hit ABC in the fall of 1993 I was 11. Now 21. I loved shows based upon video games. I remember watching the primtime special that advertised this show. The video is good for anyone who wishes to go back or were to young to watch it the first time.

I grew up with this show since i was 11 and seeing it on ABC.
It's a perfect animated Fantasy epic series with neat characters,
a Gorgeous and smart Princess, a Dispisable Villian and lots of action with intelligence as well. in Feburary, the Show will be re-issued on DVD and VHS, can't wait to own the DVD of one of my all time favorite TV Shows.

Sonic SatAM Forever!!!

Not the BEST Sonic episodes (not that they even released the BEST ones on video at all) but if you're looking for the SatAM series, this is the only way you'll see it, short of bootlegging. If you watched it on USA, you didn't see it all because they cut parts out. So, if you didn't see this show when it was on ABC, you were short-changed and you probably NEED to buy this. It is worth it though. This show was absolutely great, I'm sixteen now and I'm still saying that. It was such a shame to see it cancelled. So enjoy it however you can.

Hello! You can call me StoryMaker. Last Christmas, my sister got me the Hooked on Sonics video. It's the first Sonic the Hedgehog SatAM episodes I ever saw, but I'm still getting hooked. (It's really called Sonic the Hedgehog, but most fans want to avoid mistaking it for other Sonic TV shows so they call it SatAM.) It contains 4 episodes of EXTREME Sonic fun. SatAM contains Sonic, Tails, Robotnik/Eggman, and a lot of characters of its own like Princess Sally Acorn the Squirrelmunk, Bunnie Rabbot the partially robotic rabbit, Antione the fox with a French accent, and Rotor the walrus. The plots of SatAM are addictive and down-right great. Of course, the flaw of too much kissing isn't perfectly easy to get over, but this is still a great TV show. They have a unique explanation for the rings in the games too and a new machine: the Roboticizer, which can morph flesh into metal.

Episode overviews:

HOOKED ON SONICS
This is, as the title might suggest, the first episode on this tape. Antione wants to win the hand of Princess Sally, but Sally seems more intrested in Sonic, who he calls a "fuel" (fool). One night, Rotor suggests he captures Robotnik or something to impress her. However, when Antione fails he's the one who gets captured. Sonic must save him before it's too late! This is a good episode, but could be better.

WARP SONIC
This episode dosen't have too much excitement, but it is still great. In another fight against Robotnik, Sonic and some of his friends get cornered only to be rescued by Gryph, a goat-type guy who comes from the underground Lower Mobius. However, when Lower Mobius' power source runs low on energy, Gryph makes an unexpected turn. One odd thing about this episode is that in one section, Sonic actually swims which can't be possible in the games because, um...Sonic can't swim in them. I still like this episode though. Oh, and wierd title.

SUPER SONIC
Sally meets the mysterious gaurdian in the "Forbidden Zone". It apparently gaurds a "sleepy ol' wizard" as Bunnie puts it along with his computer of magic spells. However, Robotnik steals the sleepy ol' wizard's computer and causes trouble! Only Sonic the Hedgehog can save the day now! Personally, this episode is kind of creepy, but at the begginning there's a funny part I like. Oh, and another wierd title.

SONIC AND SALLY
Yea! My FAVORITE episode on this video! Robotnik caprures Sally, makes a robot that looks and acts like her to fool Sonic and friends, and tries to roboticize her! When Tails discovers "Sally"'s true identy, Sonic dosen't beleive him! Sonic must save the real princess from roboticizarion, but first he must know the truth about the fake Sally. This episode's got excitement, a great plot, and Tails plays an important part.

Overall, I reccomend this unless you can't get over the fact that they kiss a lot. I can't wait to see more SatAM! Signed, StoryMaker. "Gotta trust the kid's review!"

My favorite of the three SatAM VHS releases. Hooked on Sonics and especially Warped Sonic are two great episodes from the series. But the downside is that the episodes are edited from their original ABC airings. I was disappointed the Super Sonic DVD compilation doesn't include these.

Two of the more interesting episodes of the series, both revolving around the characters' relationships and jealousies involving Princess Sally.

Sonic was to wired in this video to enjoy it he and sally makeout in it so how can you enjoy that sonic whould never kiss some one ever one thinks sally is cute but hey she is jest plan ugly
