I don't know what that blurb from Grove Press is talking about. This is a studio recording with Hooker and Canned Heat that Hooker sings on in all the songs. Hite is on this CD too. The sound quality is excellent and this is a landmark meeting of blues and rock. Canned Heat complements Hooker's playing yet adds there own artistry to the songs. Buy this if you want to boogie.
