This hoop dance mix CD takes the music from the Hoopnotica Beginning Level 2 DVD. While the music is fine when you are learning from the DVD, I was disappointed as all of the music is a little slower in tempo than I would like -- I didn't find it very energetic, plus it's a little too "new-age" for my taste. I purchased this at the same time as I purchased the corresponding DVD, so I had no idea how the music would sound. Had I known, I would not have purchased it and just saved the money -- if you get satellite radio like I do, you can tune in to any kind of music that motivates you for your hoop dance practice -- all without commercial interruptions or having to change the DVD.
