5.0 out of 5 stars Fun Book
Bought it for a gift exchange for a Red Hat group, and they all loved it! Unfortunately only one could take it home.

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing Pop-up
This is adequate as an amusing, silly gift book...but that's all. Given the subject, I'd expect more fun and relevant pop-ups. Instead, boring or irrelevant pop-ups are often used. Next to an inclusion in the text of the word 'breakfast' is a pop-up of eggs and coffee; somehow, I doubt this is what buyers were hoping to find. Other pop-ups are similarily unrelated,...

Other pop-ups are similarily unrelated, unimaginative and unimpressive.

If you happen to be looking for a silly, light gift book on bras with an odd twist, this would be perfect. If you are looking for a really fun pop-up book, you will likely be rather disappointed. Instead, I'd advise checking out the fun and wondrous works of Carter, Sabuda or Reinhart, along with any customer suggestions from there. If you already know their stuff and are looking for smaller, quirkier books, maybe Bantok or Pelham would be a better fit.

David A. Carter: One Red Dot: A Pop-Up Book for Children of All Ages (Classic Collectible Pop-Up)
Richard Sabuda: Alice's Adventures in Wonderland: A Pop-up Adaptation
Matthew Reinhart: The Pop-Up Book of Phobias

Nick Bantock: Solomon Grundy: A Pop-Up Rhyme
David Pelham: Trail: Paper Poetry Pop-Up

1.0 out of 5 stars Not really risque, December 10, 2007

There isn't much amusing about this book, other than the concept. The book could have been 'fleshed out' with a lot more information. It's obvious the creators of the book didn't do a lot of research. The pop-ups are unimaginative and uninspired. Who was this book written for? Nine-years-olds?
