Captivating love story for youngers. Not for children!, July 2, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Hoot of the Owl (Paperback)
There is smething in the Roamanian ethos that makes possible the horrific eroticism of the fictional vampire, Dracula. In much the same spirit, Silvia Cinca presents to us in Hoot of the Owl a gently sensuous love story set against a backdrop of the violent struggles between the historic Dracula and Romanian's Turkish invadors. In this steadily acceletrating roller coaster of emotions, we are surprosed to find ourselfs cheering on both the tender young lovers and Vlad the Impaler as they fulfill their destinies.
