An in-concert video intercut with footage of the band on the road -- doing radio interviews, killing time at amusement parks, getting ready for the show backstage. The "day in the life" stuff takes up pretty much the first half of the tape, while the concert itself brings the tape home in Act II. An interesting peek at the band just as "Cracked Rear View" was smashing sales records everywhere. Even Hootie bashers may be forced to admit that, damn, that Darius Rucker can SING! Medley of "Love the One You're With" and "Fight the Power" blows the roof off the dump (or would if it wasn't an outdoor show). "Mustang Sally" provides the coda.

This is a look at hootie at there best right on the brink of stardom,with the release of cracked rear, this vidio is amazing to watch them perform at this stage in there careers.the songs from that album come out clean and fresh . plus there are songs on this vidio that the group no longer perform.

This compelation of songs is good for anyone who is a traditional Hootie fan. I would have liked if they had included some of the "less traditional" songs that they tend to perform in concert. For anyone who knows the typical radio songs and enjoys singing along to them, I would think they would like this DVD.

I worked at a steel mill ( in West Homestead, Pa., just outside of downtown Pittsburgh),behind where this concert took place. The weather was so bad all day, but as the day progressed the weather became warm and sunny. I was at the concert, and watched some of it from the roof of the mill the second night during my lunch break. Awesome concert, smaller crowd, and fun. To me , watching this is like going back in time and being there again. I have the VHS tape and am ordering the DVD. Darius Rucker's voice is like no other. A note to all who read this, the tall smoke stacks shown in the beginning, are from the old US Steel Homestead Works and were preserved as a Historic site ( read your history about unions in the USA and Homestead is where it started! )

Okay..im a big fan of hootie, but i waqs really disipointed when it came because it was broken.It was ripped up, pieces were cut off the tape and it played 30 seconds and that was it. And them worst part is, the seller wont respond to my emails. I still love Hootie but am furious with the seller of this item. So if your thinking of buying this make sure you are positive it is in good condition.

This is really awesome. It is a follow on tour dvd where they interact with fans, play bball, golf, etc... it basically shows the backstage side of the band. Really goofy group of guys. Awesome DVD!

If you're a Hootie fan, you will love this DVD. I watch it over and over.
It's basically about a concert in Pennsylvania. Sort of a "day in the life" story. At one point, there's a scene where the band is outside and you can see fans walking to the concert (which is in an outdoor venue).The remarks and the look on Darius' face when he sees some female fans walk by is pretty funny.
Some of my fav songs are performed on this DVD.
